How to cut down a scrub brushes?

1. I use a cane knife, or a machete. We got ours from The Home Depot, and they come in different lengths, for ease of use. Obviously my honey has a longer swing than I do, so he got the longest one, while I got the shortest. We have an acre, and only about half is cleared, so I guess we have our spring work cut out for us!
